Our vision is to elevate Latin American culture by nurturing spaces where traditions are honored, and new generations feel empowered to carry them forward. We believe that when people come together to celebrate their roots, they help build communities grounded in respect, understanding, and shared joy.
To achieve this vision, we:
Organize dynamic community activities such as traditional dance performances, folkloric workshops, and cultural celebrations led by experienced facilitators.
Provide welcoming platforms for dialogue and learning about Latin American history, values, and contemporary interests.
Create and maintain programs for children, youth, and seniors, ensuring everyone has access to cultural experiences that enrich their lives.
Encourage cross-cultural collaboration to promote friendship and respect among all cultures.

Our Mission: We are dedicated to promoting Latin American folklore throughout Western New York by offering educational events, community workshops, and meaningful live performances that celebrate our rich cultural traditions.

Our history is rooted in a commitment to education and inclusion. In November 2013, Avenue D R-Center and IADC Project HOPE opened their doors to GLCER to present our first educational series, “About Latin America.” This milestone sparked years of growth and collaboration, turning our vision into a reality that touches families, teachers, and artists throughout our community
