Marketing 

Natalia is an Afro-Dominican who grew up on Long Island. Much of her childhood was spent around Latin culture, as her family was heavily involved in Latin film, entertainment and music industries. Being a 2nd generation American, she holds close family roots to the Dominican Republic and enjoys celebrating her heritage with family and community members. She moved to Rochester, NY in the summer of 2021 and felt like home when joining this organization. She resides in the South Wedge accompanied by her 3-year-old child, husband, and their Australian Cattle dog.

Natalia enjoys staying active in her community through volunteering. She has a developing background in marketing and communication. She formerly interned for PromGirl as their Social Media Manager. During her time at PromGirl she worked on launching successful global marketing campaigns and strategies for millions of viewers.

Natalia was also Miss Teen New York USA in 2016. She learned valuable skills in nonprofit work, volunteering, and marketing during her time representing New York. Additionally Natalia has been on both sides of the camera, featured in campaigns for Morphe, Aetna, Scholastic; as well as assisting in outreach and casting for large productions in the Latin music and film markets. In her free time, she is a photographer who loves creating art, inspired by social good and bringing visibility to LGBTQ+ identities. She currently works as a Tele-banker ESL Federal Credit Union. She has volunteered for several organizations and places including, Best Buddies, UNICEF, Smile Train, children’s hospitals, Relay for Life, as well as others where she hopes to continue growing and helping people in her community and beyond. Natalia believes wholeheartedly that GCLER is the next step in her journey to foster change and couldn’t be more excited to be a member of the board.
